Wheat Badusha | Atta Balushahi -How to make-Step by step photos & Video

Ingredients
- Wheat flour[Atta, godhumai maavu]– 1 cup
- Rava[semolina] – 1 tbsp
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- Cardamom powder– 1 tbsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Salt a pinch
- Curd – 1 tbsp
- Water as needed
- Oil & ghee for deep frying
Sugar Syrup
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Water - 1/4 to 1/2 cup
- Green cardamom – 1 tbsp
Preparation
- In a bowl add butter, curd, sugar, & salt beat well.
- Then add wheat flour, rava, cardamom powder & oil mix well.
- Add water mix well, knead & make soft smooth dough.
- Then cover it & leave it for 5 min.
- Divide the dough into equal size balls. Then press gently in the middle of the balls like doughnuts.
- Heat oil & ghee in a pan, put pieces one by one & deep fry on medium flame.
- Once fried flip over & cook another side.
- Once it’s turned light brown take it out. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- For sugar syrup:- Add sugar & water in a pan mix gently & let it dissolve.
- Then let it boil till you get one string consistency.
- Immediately place in to the sugar syrup & leave it for 30 min.
- Then take it out & cool it in room temperature.
- Once sugar syrup fully absorbed & totally dried then store it in an airtight container & use within 5 days

Add pinch of salt
Add pinch of sugar
Add curd
Add wheat flour
Add cardamom powder
Add rava
Add oil
Add water, mix well, make soft dough
Dough is ready, cover it leave it for 5 min
Make balls
Make cavity in the middle
Heat oil, drop raw badusha
Deep fry till crisp and golden brown
Flip over cook both sides
Now its ready, remove it from oil
Drain on absorbent paper
Heat pan add 1 cup sugar
Add 1/4 cup water
let it dissolve then let it boil till 1 string consistency
Now its ready, cut off heat
Place fried badhusha in sugar syrup
Soak it for 30 min
Delicious, crispy, juicy & healthy badhusha ready
