Ingredients
- Roasted gram [Pottukadalai, porikadalai] – 1 cup
- Sugar – ½ cup
- Green cardamom – 3
- Ghee – ¼ cup
- Cashew nuts – 5
- Raisins – 6
Preparation
- Heat pan add Pottukadalai gently roast for a min on low flame. Then cool it & grind to smooth powder.
- Heat ghee in a pan add raisins, & cashew nuts then roast till light brown then chop & keep it aside
- Break the cardamom shell; add the seeds & sugar in a mixer jar & finely grind.
- In a bowl add freshly ground Pottukadalai powder & sugar cardamom powder mix well.
- Add chopped nuts & raisins mix well. Then heat ghee.
- Add ghee to the mixture mix well then make it equal size ladoos. Pressure little bit & make the ladoos tight.
- Once its ready garnish with almonds & pistachios then place it in an airtight container use within 3 days.

Pottukadalai laddu ingredients- Roasted gram, sugar, cashew nuts, raisins & cardamom
Ghee [melted butter]
Heat pan add pottukadalai & dry roast for a min
Cool it & put it in a mixer jar then grind to smooth powder.

In a mixer jar add sugar, cardamom seeds grind to smooth powder
Sugar cardamom powder is ready
Heat ghee in a pan add cashew nuts & raisins roast till light brown
Then chop & keep it aside
In a bowl add pottukadalai powder & sugar cardamom powder mix well
Add chopped nuts to the mixture
Heat ghee then pour it to the mixture mix well
Add more ghee make ladoos.
Pressure little bit make the ladoos tight
