Paneer cheese pakora-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Paneer [Cottage cheese] – 1 cup
- Green chutney* – 2 tbsp
- [Add mint, coriander leaves, green chilli & salt with 2 tbsp of water in a stone mortar & grind well]
- Tomato chilli sauce – 2 tbsp
- Cheese – 1 slice
- Oil for deep frying
For batter
- Gram flour – 4 tbsp
- Rice flour – 1 tbsp
- Corn flour – 1 tbsp
- Carom seeds – ½ tsp
- Asafetida a pinch
- Pepper powder – ¼ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- In a bowl add all ingredients & make smooth, light batter.
Preparation Method
- Cut the paneer square into two halves[triangle shapes]. Then slit length wise.
- Cut cheese slices into halves.
- Take first paneer, place 1 tbsp of green chutney then evenly spread.
- Then place cheese slice [triangle shape].
- Grease another paneer slice with tomato chilli sauce. Then place it on first slice [like sandwich]
- Dip stuffed paneer in the gram flour batter then deep fry till golden brown [Medium hot oil].
- Serve hot with green chutney or tomato sauce

Paneer[Cottage cheese]
Tomato chilli sauce
For green chutney:- Add mint, salt, green chilli in stone mortar grind well
Cheese slice
In a bowl, add gram flour, rice flour, corn flour, carom seeds, asafetida, turmeric, red chilli powder & salt mix well.
Add water & make light batter
Cut into halves
Take one paneer slice, place green chutney & evenly spread
Place cheese slice
Grease another paneer slice with tomato chilli sauce
Cover with another paneer slice
Dip in the gram flour batter
Heat oil in a pan, deep fry paneer slices till golden brown and crisp
Once its ready, drain on an absorbent paper
Paneer cheese pakoda is ready serve hot
