Crispy okra(Vendaikai Pakoda)-How to make-Stepwise Pictures with Video

Ingredients
- Okra [ladies finger] - 100 g
- Rice flour - 5 tbsp
- Bengal gram flour [Gram flour, besan flour, Kadalai maavu]- 3 tbsp
- Red chilli powder - ½ tbsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves – ½ spring
- Asafoetida – ½ tbsp
- Salt as needed
- Oil for deep frying
- Water - 2 tbsp
Method
- Slice okra [ladies finger] alongside and cut into long thin strips.
- In a bowl take Rice flour, Bengal gram flour,red chilli powder, turmeric powder, Asafetida, salt and put sliced Okra and curry leaves then mix well.
- Add little bit of water (not like bajji consistency).
- Deep fry till light brown. Take it out. Then second fry till golden brown
- Take with rice or tea.
