Javvarisi payasam | Tapioca kheer | Sago milk payasam

Ingredients
- Javvarisi [Sago, Tapioca, sabhudhana]- 1 cup
- Milk - 2 cups
- Water – ½ cup [optional]
- Green cardamom powder - ½ tbsp
- Cashew nuts - 5
- Raisins - 6
- Pistachio - 4
- Ghee - 1 tbsp
Preparation
- Wash & soak sago for 2 hours. Then drain water & keep it aside.
- Heat pan with ghee then roast cashew nuts, raisins, & pistachio keep it aside.
- In the same pan add milk, water, & let it boil.
- Then add sago cook till soft [apr 5 to 8 min]. Then add sugar mix well.
- Add cardamom powder, cut off heat.
- Add ghee roasted cashew nut, raisins, & pistachio slices then serve hot or cold.
