Ingredients

  • Javvarisi [Sago, Tapioca, sabhudhana]- 1 cup
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Water – ½ cup [optional]
  • Green cardamom powder - ½ tbsp
  • Cashew nuts - 5
  • Raisins - 6
  • Pistachio - 4
  • Ghee - 1 tbsp

Preparation

  • Wash & soak sago for 2 hours. Then drain water & keep it aside.
  • Heat pan with ghee then roast cashew nuts, raisins, & pistachio keep it aside.
  • In the same pan add milk, water, & let it boil.
  • Then add sago cook till soft [apr 5 to 8 min]. Then add sugar mix well.
  • Add cardamom powder, cut off heat.
  • Add ghee roasted cashew nut, raisins, & pistachio slices then serve hot or cold.
