Mutter Paneer | Matar paneer recipe | Green peas paneer gravy

Ingredients
- Green peas [boiled] - 1 cup
- Paneer - 1 cup [cut into ½ inch cube and fry]
- 1 big onion [chopped] + 1 green chilli [chopped] - ¼ cup [Grind to fine paste in mixer]
- Ginger & garlic [finally chopped] - 2 tbs
- Cashew nut paste - ¼ cup
- Tomato puree - 1 cup
- Curd [whisked] - ¼ cup
- Cumin powder - 1 tbs
- Coriander powder - 1 tbs
- Pepper powder - ½ tbs
- Garam masala powder - 1 tbs
- Kasoori methi powder - 1 ½ tbs
- Red chilli powder - ½ tbs
- Turmeric powder - ½ tbs
- Green cardamom powder - ½ tbs
- Salt to taste
- Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbs
- Oil + ghee - 3 tbs
Preparation
- Heat oil and ghee in a pan and put onion, green chilli paste then sauté well
- Add ginger & garlic paste then sauté well
- Add tomato puree and let it cook then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder & mix well
- Add cashew nut paste & mix well then add cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder & mix well
- Add green peas and curd then mix well.
- Add fried paneer & mix well.
- Then add kasoori methi powder and cardamom powder & mix well
- Turn off flame. Serve hot with chopped coriander leaves
Note
- You can use butter for improved flavour
Tip
- You can add fresh cream before turn off the flame
