Ingredients

  • Bitter gourd [Pavakkai, karela, Momordica charantia] – 2 [cut into thin circles]
  • Turmeric powder – ½ tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 ½ tbsp
  • Oil for deep fry
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  • Wash & thinly slice bitter gourd.
  • In a bowl marinate bitter gourd slices with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt & lemon juice. Then leave it for 10 min.
  • Heat pan with oil & deep fry till golden brown then 2 nd fry.
  • Sprinkle salt & red chilli powder & serve hot with rice.
