Masala Oats Upma

Ingredients
- Oats - 1 ½ cup
- Carrot - 1 [chopped]
- Green peas - ¼ cup [boiled]
- Almonds, cashew- 2 tbsp [Roasted]
- Tomato - 1 [chopped]
- Onion - 1 [chopped]
- Green chilli - 1 [chopped]
- Ginger – ½ tbsp [finely chopped]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Coriander leaves – 2 spring [chopped]
- Garam masala – ½ tsp
- Lemon juice – ¼ tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves - 1 spring
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water - 1 cup
Preparation
- Dry roast oats / oat meal for 2 min.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustar let it crackle then add curry leaves
- Add onion sauté gently.
- Then add curry leaves, ginger, green chilli and tomatoes & sauté till soft.
- Add carrot and green peas, garam masala powder sauté for 1 min.
- Add 1 cup of water, salt mix well & let it boil.
- When boiling add oats, mix well, cover lid & cook for 3 min or till moisture out.
- Finally add lemon juice, chopped coriander leaves and roasted nuts & mix gently then serve hot
