Palak makhana | Spinach lotus seeds curry | Palak phool makhana sabzi

Ingredients
- Phool makhana – 1 cup
- Spinach – 1 bunch
- Onion – ¼ cup [grated]
- Ginger and garlic – 1 tbsp each [grated]
- Green chilli – 1 [finely chopped]
- Garam masla – ½ tbsp
- Coriander powder– ½ tbsp
- Cumin powder– ½ tbsp
- Kasoori methi powder – ½ tbsp
- Cumin seeds– ½ tbsp
- Turmeric powder– ½ tbsp
- Red chilli powder– ½ tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Butter – 1 inch cube
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water as needed
Method
- Boil spinach with small amount of water till soft. Then put it in a blender to make fine paste.
- Heat oil and butter in a pan then add cumin seeds, onion sauté well till onion turns light brown then add ginger and garlic and green chilli sauté well.
- Add fried phool makhna, turmeric powder and red chilli powder, mix well then add spinach paste & mix well.
- Add cumin powder, coriander powder and garam masla powder mix well, cook it for 2 min then add kasoori methi powder mix well and cut off heat and serve hot with chapthi, roti or naan.
