Shahi tukda | Shahi tukra-How to make-Stepwise pictures

Ingredients
- Bread – 2 slices
- Milk - 2 cups
- Saffron – ½ tbsp
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Water – ½ cup
- Almonds, pistachios – 3 tbsp
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
Preparation
- Cut the edges of the bread. Then cut into triangle shapes.
- Heat ghee in a pan roast almonds, pistachios & chop or grate & keep it aside.
- Heat pan with water & sugar & let it boil & wait till sugar syrup becomes bit sticky consistency. Then cut off heat.
- Heat ghee in a pan then roast bread slices till golden brown.
- Heat milk in a pan & let it boil. When boiling add saffron & wait till milk reduces to half & slightly thick. This is called rabri[rabadi]. Then add chopped nuts & let it cool.
- Dip ghee roasted bread slices in sugar syrup & place it in a serving plate then pour milk saffron mixture [rabri].
- Garnish with nuts & serve hot or chilled.
Tip
- For another variation of shahi tukra use condensed milk or jaggery
How to make Shahi tukda -Stepwise pictures[Simple, Easy & Delicious]
Heat pan with milk & let it boil. When boiling add saffron
Heat ghee in a pan add almonds & pistachios, roast & chop
Cut the edges of the bread & then cut into triangle shapes
Continue boil milk till bit thick
Now milk is slightly thick & reduced to half. This is called rabri. Now cut off heat & let it cool
Heat ghee in a pan roast bread slices
Bread slices turned golden brown now cut off heat. Prepare sugar syrup
Dip bread slices in sugar syrup then place it in a serving plate
Pour prepared rabri[milk saffron mixture]
Add chopped nuts
Refrigerate for 1 hour
Shahi tukda is ready
Serve hot or chilled
