Green gram and potato sundal | Pachai payaru urulaikizhangu sundal | Aloo Matki dal sundal

Ingredients
- Green gram [Pachai payaru] – 1 cup
- Potato – 1
- Coconut – ¼ cup [grated]
- Onion – 1 [sliced]
- Green chilli – 1 [sliced]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Coriander powder – ½ tbsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds – ½ tbsp
- Bengal gram – ½ tbsp
- Urad dal – ½ tbsp
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- Dry roast green gram & wash. Then boil potato and green gram separately. Then peel the skin of potato & cut in to 1 inch cubes.
- Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds. When its spluttering add Bengal gram, urad dal and onion sauté till soft.
- Add green chilli & coconut sauté gently. Then add curry leaves, redchilli powder and coriander powder mix well. Then add boiled potato and salt mix well. Then add boiled green gram mix well.
- Add coconut, coriander leaves & lemon juice mix well then cut off heat. Serve hot with rice
