Moong dal halwa recipe | Pasi paruppu halwa-How to Make-Stepwise Pictures

Ingredients
- Moong dal – 1 cup
- Milk – 1 cup
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp
- Pistachios – 5
- Almonds – 4
- Ghee – ¼ cup
Method
- Heat pan with ghee & roast pistachios and almonds then chop.
- Wash & Soak moong dal for 5 hours. Then drain water & then coarsely grind with 1 tbsp of water.
- Heat pan then add milk. When milk is boiling add moong dal paste stir well continuously in low flame.
- Then add ghee stir well continuously. Once raw smell out and bubbles come out add sugar and stir well & add ghee.
- Once the mixture blends well add cardamom powder and chopped nuts mix well & cut off heat.
- Transfer this mixture to ghee greased tray. Cut into desired shapes & serve hot.
