Onion pakoda | Crispy onion pakora | Vengaya pakoda

Ingredients
- Onion – 2 [Sliced]
- Gram flour – ½ cup
- Rice flour – ¼ cup
- Asafetida - ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder - ½ tsp
- Green chilli – 1 finely chopped
- Curry leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
- Water as needed [Apr. 3 to 4 tbsp]
Preparation
- Take a bowl add gram flour, rice flour, salt, asafetida, red chilli powder, green chilli, curry leaves, coriander leaves and onion mix well.
- Sprinkle 4 tbsp of water and mix well. (Not like bajji consistency).
- Heat oil in a pan then sprinkle onion mixture & deep fry on medium flame till golden brown & crispy.
- Serve hot with curd rice, evening snack, tea or coffee
