Onion bhaji | Vengaya bajji

Ingredients
- Onion – 2
- Besan [gram flour, kadalai maavu] – 1 cup
- Rice flour – ½ cup
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
- Asafetida a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil – ¼ ltr [for frying]
Preparation
- Take a bowl add gram flour, rice flour, salt, asafetida, red chilli & turmeric powder then add water mix well (dosa batter consistency).
- Cut onion into circles.
- Heat pan with sunflower oil. Then dip onion in the batter and deep fry in medium hot oil till golden brown. Serve hot with tea or coffee.
