How to make Hariyali sabudana khichdi video
Ingredients
- Sago [big] – 1 cup
- Onion -1 [finely chopped]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
- Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
For Paste
- Mint leaves - 3/4 cup
- Coriander leaves – 1/2 cup
- Green chilli - 1
- Ginger – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Water as needed
- Put all ingredients in a mixer jar, coarsely grind.
Method
- Wash & Soak sago for 4 to 5 hours or over night.
- Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds.
- Once its spluttered add Bengal gram, urad dal
- Add curry leaves, onion, & asafoetida saute for 2 min
- Add ground coriander mixture, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, Saute for 2 min.
- Add sago, salt mix well then saute for 3 min
- Cover lid & cook for 5 min, Then remove lid, mix well, again cover lid & cook for 3 min
- Once sago cooked, Cut off heat then serve hot with pickle or chutney.

Take 1 cup sago
Add sago in a bowl wash 2 to 3 tiems
Add water, soak it for 4 to 5 hours or overnight
Soaked sago ready
Add mint, coriander, gigner, salt & green chilli
Coarsely grind
Heat 2 tbsp oil, add mustard, chana dal, urad dal, asafoetida, onion saute
Add turmeric and red chilli powder
Add green mixture
Let it boil
Add soaked sago
Add salt
Saute for 3 min
Cover lid, cook for 5 to 8 min
Now itsr eady, cut off heat
Instant coriander sago ready, serve hot
