Simple thakkali kuzhambu for ragi dosa and rice

Ingredients
- Tomato – 4 [chopped]
- Green chilli or dry red chilli -1 [slit]
- Onion – 1 [sliced]
- Garlic – 2 cloves [mashed]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Sugar or jaggery – ¼ tsp
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water as needed
Method
- Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds. Once it’s spluttered add onion & garlic sauté till soft.
- Add green chilli, curry leaves, tomato, turmeric & red chilli powder sauté well.
- Add water and salt cover lid, let it boil & cook till soft.
- When boiling add sugar then cut off heat, Serve hot with rice or ragi dosa
