Ingredients

  • Ragi semiya [kezhvaragu sevai, finger millet vermicelli] – 1 cup
  • Coconut – ½ cup [Grated]
  • Jaggery – ¼ cup [Grated]
  • Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp
  • Ghee – 2 tbsp
  • Salt a pinch

Preparation

  • Soak ragi semiya for 3 min.
  • In a bowl add ragi semiya, coconut, cardamom powder, jaggery and salt mix well.
  • Take a lemon size of dough and make kolukattai (using your five fingers)
  • Steam it for 5 minutes in idli cooker. Sprinkle ghee & serve hot.
