Gujarati potatoes recipe | Gujarati style potato sabzi

Ingredients For Koftas
- Baby potatoes – ¼ kg
- Cumin powder – 1 tbsp [dry roast cumin seed then grid]
- Coriander powder -1 tbsp [dry roast coriander seed then grid]
- Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – ½ tbsp
- Fenugreek – ¼ tsp
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Grated coconut – 3 tbsp
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs
- Green chilli – 1 [chopped]
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Method for curry
- Boil baby potatoes. Peel the skin off and marinate with salt, turmeric and red chilli powder.
- Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds. Once it’s spluttered then add cumin seeds, fenugreek, green chilli and curry leaves.
- Add grated coconut, cumin powder and coriander powder mix well.
- Add potatoes mix well. Then add chopped coriander leaves cut off heat. Serve hot with rice, chapathi.
