Ingredients

  • Paneer [cottage cheese] – cup [finely chopped or grated]
  • Red capsicum – ½ cup [finely chopped]
  • Yellow capsicum – ½ cup [finely chopped]
  • Green peas – ¼ cup [finely chopped]
  • Onion – 1 [finely chopped]
  • Tomato – 1 [finely chopped]
  • Ginger & garlic – 1 tbsp [finely chopped & mashed]
  • Green chilli – 1 [finely chopped]
  • Coriander leaves – 2 springs [finely chopped]
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
  • Coriander & cumin powder – 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala – 1 tbsp
  • Pepper powder – ¼ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar a pinch
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Ghee – 2 tbsp
  • Water – 3 tbsp

Method

  • Heat pan with oil & ghee, add cumin seeds. Then add onion, ginger and garlic sauté till raw smell out.
  • Add green chilli, green peas & tomato sauté till soft.
  • Add red & yellow capsicum sauté for a min. Then add turmeric & red chilli powder mix well. Add 3 tbsp of water mix well.
  • Add cumin, coriander & pepper powder mix well. Then add paneer, salt, sugar & garam masala sauté.
  • Add coriander leaves mix well & cut off heat. Serve hot with rice or chapati.
