Adai | Protein Rich Adai Dosa-How to make thin adai-Step by step photos with video

Ingredients
- Toor dal – 1 cup
- Bengal gram – ¾ cup
- Idli rice – 2 cup
- Dry red chilli – 2
- Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Garlic – 3 cloves
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Method
- Wash and soak toor dal, Bengal gram and idli rice overnight.
- Then drain water and coarsely grind with ¼ cup of water, dry red chilli, garlic, cumin seeds.
- Then add salt mix well.
- Then instantly make adai or leave it for fermentation for 2 hours.
- Heat iron dosa tawa then pour batter & spread like a usual dosa shape.
- Then pour 1 tbsp of oil around the adai, cover lid & cook both sides.
- Once adai is ready serve hot with coconut chutney, idli podi, or grated jaggery.

Urad dal
Wash 3 times
Add water, soak it for 5 hours
Soaked dal rice ready
Add garlic
Add curry leaves
Add Asafoetida
Add dry red chilli
Add turmeric
Add salt
Add cumin
Add water, coarsely grind
Add Transfer to a bowl, mix well, let it ferment or directly make adai
batter ready
Add water if required
Perfect consistency
Heat iron tawa, pour batter evenly spread
cook both sides for 2 min
Flip over cook other side
crispy aai dosa ready
Serve hot with adai avial or grated jaggery
