Purple cabbage cucumber pachadi | Red cabbage cucumber salad/ raita | Muttaikose vellarikka pachadi

Ingredients
- Purple cabbage – ¼ cup [Grated]
- Goose berry[Amla] – 1 [cut into small cubes]
- Cucumber – 1 [cut into small cubes]
- Green chilli – 1 [finely chopped]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring [finely chopped]
- Coriander leaves – 3 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Ginger – 1 tsp [finely chopped or grated]
- Fresh curd – 4 tbsp [fully whisked, like double cream consistency]
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil - 1 tbsp
Preparation
- Heat oil in a pan add purple cabbage saute for 2 min, then let it cool. or steam it a steamer for 3 min.
- Take a purple cabbage in a bowl then add goose berry and cucumber & mix gently.
- Then add curry leaves, green chilli, ginger and coriander leaves.
- Sprinkle salt and lemon juice & mix well.
- Finally add fresh curd/yogurt mix well. Serve with chapati or rice.
Note
- You can add crushed pepper or seasoned ingredients [Heat pan with oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and dry red chilli then add at the end]
