Ingredients

  • Wheat flour [Atta] – 3 cups
  • Black urad dal – 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Oil - 2 tbsp

Method

  • Wash and soak black urad dal for 8 hours. Then grind well.
  • In a bowl add wheat flour and water mix well [double cream consistency]. Then add urad dal batter and salt mix well.
  • Leave it for fermentation [for 5 to 7 hours]. If batter is thick add water then Make dosa as usual. Serve hot with tomato tamarind chutney or sambar
