Tomato capsicum gravy | Bell pepper Tomato Curry | Thakkali kudamilagai kuzhambu

Ingredients
- Tomato – 5 [chopped]
- Capsicum – 2 [cut into stripes]
- Green chilli -1 [sliced]
- Onion – 2 [sliced]
- Garlic – 2 cloves [mashed]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
- Urad dal – ½ tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Sugar – ¼ tsp
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water as needed
Method
- Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds. Once it’s spluttered then add Bengal gram and urad dal. Then add onion sauté till soft.
- Add garlic and capsicum sauté well then add green chilli, curry leaves, tomato, turmeric & red chilli powder sauté well.
- Add water and salt cover lid and leave it for boil.
- When boiling add sugar then cut off heat, Serve hot with rice or chapati
