Ingredients
- Potato – 3
- Onion – 1 [sliced]
- Ginger – 1 inch [mashed]
- Garlic – 2 [mashed]
- Green chilli – 1 [sliced]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Coriander leaves – 1 spring [chopped]
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
- Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Method
- Wash and boil potatoes in a pressure cooker for 3 whistles. Then peel and chop.
- Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds. once its spluttered then add Bengal gram and urad dal.
- Add onion sauté till soft. Then add ginger and garlic sauté gently. then add green chilli , curry leaves and turmeric powder mix well.
- Then add boiled potatoes and salt mix well & leave it for 2 min. cut off heat sprinkle coriander leaves then serve hot with poori or chapati.
Tip
- You can use it for masala dosa.
