Sola Idli is a healthy breakfast recipe which is alternative to your daily and routine normal idli. Solam (Proso millet) is white in color and had been in wide usage several thousands years back in India and China. It has rich in minerals and vitamins. Those who have skin allergy please avoid. You can try Sola dosa also with the same batter.
Ingredients
- Solam (Proso millet) - 1 cup (100 g)
- Whole Urad Dal - 3/4 cup
- Rice-1 cup
- Salt - 4 tsp
Preparation
- Wash and Soak urad dal, Rice and solam over night separately
- Grind them, mix well, add salt and allow it for fermentation ( 8 hours aprx)
- Make idli as usual

- You can do tomato topping

- You can make dosa in same batter
