Ingredients

  • Pirandai [adamant creeper] – 1 cup [Wash and peel the edges then chop]
  • Urad dal – 1 tbsp
  • Bengal gram-1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds-1 tbsp
  • Coriander seeds-1 tbsp
  • Dry red chilli-2
  • Sambar onion [shallots] - 6
  • Garlic-2 cloves
  • Coconut – 4 tbsp [grated]
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste

Preparation Method

  • Heat pan with oil then fry pirandai.
  • Heat another pan then roast all remaining ingredients.
  • Coarsely grind all ingredients (including pirandai, dont add water). Sprinkle gingelly oil when serve with rice.
