Ingredients

  • Vendakkai [Ladies finger] – ¼ kg
  • Mustard seeds – ½ tbsp
  • Curry leaves – 2 springs
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tbsp
  • Coriander powder – ½ tbsp
  • Coconut – ¼ cup [grated]
  • Oil -2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  • Chop ladies finger in to thin pieces.
  • Heat pan with oil add mustard seeds. Once it’s spluttered then add curry leaves.
  • Add okra then fry for 5 min.
  • Add red chilli, turmeric & salt mix well then sauté for another 2 min
  • Add coconut and coriander powder sauté well. Once the stickiness out cut off heat then serve hot with rice
