Vegetable Tikka Masala

Ingredients
- Oil - 2 tbs
- Butter - 3 tbs
- Onion - 1 big finally chopped
- Carrot - 1 [cut in to one inch cubes]
- Potato - 2 [cut in to one inch cubes]
- Green peas - ½ cup
- Capsicum - ½
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Ginger and garlic paste - 1 tbsp each
- Tomato puree - 1 cup [cut and make paste using blender or mixer]
- Tomato sauce - 3 tbsp
- Curd [whisked] - 3 tbsp fresh
- Tandoori garam masala - 1 tbs
- Garam masala - ½ tbs
- Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tbs
- Black pepper powder - ½ tbs
- Coriander powder & Cumin powder - 1 tbs each
- Sugar - ¼ tsp
- Kasoori methi powder - 1 tbs
- Coriander leaves – ¼ cup finally chopped
- Black cardamom powder – ½ tbs [optional]
Preparation
- Heat oil & butter in a pan. Add chopped onion and sauté well. One onion is turned light brown then add ginger & garlic paste and stir well
- Add boiled potato, carrot and green peas sauté well. Add capsicum and cook lightly. Add turmeric powder, kasmeri red chilli powder then stir well
- Add tomato puree and mix well. Add water if required. Add coriander & cumin powder, garam masala, tandoori garam masla, black pepper powder & mix well.
- Add tomato sauce, sugar, black cardamom powder and mix well
- Add chopped coriander leaves, kasoori methi powder and mix well
- Turn off flame. Serve hot with butter on top.
Note
- You can use chat masala for other variant

- You can add fresh cream just before serving
