Manchurian style sesame baby corn | Sesame cornlettes manchurian

Ingredients
- Baby corn – ¼ kg or 1 cup
- Onion – 1 [finely chopped]
- Garlic – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Green chilli – 1 [finely chopped]
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Tomato sauce – ¼ cup
- Red chilli paste – 2 tbsp
- Soya sauce – 2 tbsp
- Pepper powder – ½ tsp
- White sesame seeds – 2 tbsp [dry roasted]
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
For batter
- Maida – ¼ cup
- Rice flour – ¼ cup
- Pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Preparation
- Wash baby corns.
- In a bowl add maida, rice flour, salt & pepper mix well. Then add water stir well. Batter should be light & mild watery.
- Dip baby corn in maida batter mixture then deep fry till golden brown & keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan then add onion sauté till soft. Then add garlic & green chilli sauté.
- Add tomato sauce, soya sauce, red chilli paste & pepper powder mix well. Add 2 tbsp of water sauté till raw smell out.
- Then add fried baby corns mix well & leave it for a min.
- Then cut off heat & Sprinkle sesame seeds. Serve hot with boiled rice, chapatti, biryani or pulao.
Tip
- Add spring onion at the end gives nice texture.
