Potato paneer gulab jamun-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Potato[Aloo, Urulaikizhangu]– 2 [boiled, peeled,mashed]
- Paneer[Cottage cheese]- ½ cup
- Maida[All purpose flour]– 2 tbsp
- Milk powder – 1 tbsp
- Milk – 1 to 2 tbsp
- Saffron[kunguma poo]- few
- Pistachios – 5 [for garnishing]
- Oil for deep frying
- Salt a pinch
For sugar syrup
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Water – 1 cup
- Green cardamom – 3
Preparation
- Boil milk add saffron & soak it for 5 min.
- Grate paneer & mash well. In a bowl add paneer, 1 tbsp of maida, mix well, knead it & make soft dough. Add milk or water if required.
- Then divide the dough into equal size balls[Chickpeas size] & leave it for 5 min.
- In a bowl add potato, salt, milk powder,1 tbsp of maida & milk saffron mixture mix well, knead it & make soft dough. Then divide the dough into equal size balls & leave it for 10 min.
- For sugar syrup: - Heat water & sugar in a pan stir well. Once sugar dissolved then let it boil.
- Then add green cardamom leave it for 5 min in medium flame. Then cut off heat.
- Take one potato ball then make hole in the middle & Stuff with paneer stuffing mixture & shape into a ball again.
- Heat oil in a pan then deep fry till golden brown on medium hot oil for 2 to 3 min.
- Add fried potato paneer balls to the sugar syrup & leave it for 15 min.
- Garnish with pistachios slices & serve.

Make potato paneer stuffed balls
Make Sugar syrup with 1 cup of sugar, water & green cardamom
Heat oil, add potato paneer stuffed balls
Deep fry till golden brown on medium hot oil for 3 min
Balls turned golden brown in color, now its ready, take it out from oil
Add fried balls in to the sugar syrup & leave it for 15 min
Garnish with pista, refrigerate and serve chilled
Potato paneer gulab jamun is ready to serve
