Vegetable semiya upma | Veg vermicelli [sevai] upma-How to make-Stepwise pictures

Ingredients
- Semiya [Vermicelli, sevai] – 2 cup
- Tomato – 1 [chopped]
- Carrot -1 [cut in to small cubes]
- Green capsicum- ½ [cut in to small cubes]
- Green peas – 1 cup [Fresh]
- Onion -1[sliced]
- Ginger-1 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Green chilli -1 [sliced]
- Curry leaves-1 spring
- Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp [chopped]
- Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
- Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed [apr.2 ½ cup]
Preparation Method
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds & let it splutter. Then add Bengal gram, urad dal and add chopped onion sauté till soft.
- Add ginger, green chilli & curry leaves saute.
- Add tomato, carrot and green capsicum then sauté gently. Then add green peas.
- Add water and salt mix well and bring it to boil.
- When boiling add semiya and mix well, cover lid & leave it for a min. Then cut off heat & sprinkle coriander leaves cover it & leave it for another 2 min.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney.

Chopped tomato & Coriander leaves
Heat pan add oil, mustard seeds let it splutter, then add bengal gram, urad dal, onion saute
Add ginger & green chilli
Add capsicum & carrot
Add green peas & saute
Add tomato saute
Add salt & saute
Add water & salt & let it boil
Water is boiling. Now add semiya
Add semiya mix well
Fully mixed.Leave it for a min
Cover lid & cut off heat, leave it for 2 to 3 min
Add coriander leaves mix well
Serve hot with Coconut chutney
