Coconut burfi | Thengai Burfi | Nariyal barfi-How to make-Step by step photos & video

Ingredients
- Coconut – 1 cup [grated]
- Sugar – ¾ cup
- Water – ¼ cup
- Ghee – 3 tbsp
- Cardamom powder – 1 tbsp
Method
- Grease the tray with ghee.
- Heat pan with sugar and water.
- On one string consistency add coconut mix well.
- Add ghee and stir continuously. Then add cardamom powder
- Once mixture blend well cut off heat. Transfer this to ghee greased tray. Spread evenly. Leave it for 10 min then cut in to desired shapes
- Put this in an airtight container. Use it for 3 days
Note
- You can use ghee roast grated coconut

For sugar syrup:- Add sugar
Add water
Mix well, let it boil till one string consistency
Now its ready
Add cardamom powder
Add coconut
Cook till it thickens
Now its ready, cut off heat
Pour into tray / plate
Let it set in room temperature
Cut in to cubes
Perfect coconut burfi ready
Store in an airtight container, use within 2 weeks
