Fresh green peas poriyal | Green peas capsicum stir fry

Ingredients
- Fresh Green peas[Pachai pattani in tamil, matar in hindi] – 1 cup
- Coconut – ¼ cup [Grated]
- Onion – 1 [sliced]
- Yellow & red capsicum – ¼ cup [finely chopped, optional]
- Green chilli – 1 [sliced]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Tumeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp
- Coriander powder – ½ tbsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
- Urad dal – ½ tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Preparation
- Boil fresh green peas.
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds & let it splutter. Add onion sauté till soft.
- Then add green chilli, red, yellow capsicum and curry leaves saute. Then add turmeric & red chillli powder mix well.
- Add green peas and salt mix well. Then add coconut. Cut off heat & serve hot with rice.
