Cornmeal payasam | Cornmeal jaggery kheer

Ingredients
- Cornmeal [Corn rava, makka solam] - 1 cup
- Milk - 1 cup
- Water – 1 ½ cup [optional]
- Saffron – few
- Jaggery – ½ cup
- Green cardamom powder - ½ tbsp
- Cashew nuts - 5
- Raisins - 6
- Pistachio - 4
- Almonds [sliced] -3
- Ghee - 3 tbsp
Preparation
- Dry roast cornmeal.
- Heat pan with ghee then roast cashew nuts, raisins, pistachio and almonds keep it aside.
- In the same pan add milk, water, roasted cornmeal & cook till soft [apr 15 to 20 min]. Then add jaggery mix well.
- Add ghee roasted cashew nut, raisins, pistachio and almonds slices.
- Finally add cardamom powder & saffron then cut off heat.
- Serve hot or cold.
