Pasta payasam | Pasta Kheer - How to make-Stepwise Pictures

Ingredients
- Pasta [Penne pasta small] - 1 cup
- Milk – 3 cups
- Water – 1 cup [optional]
- Saffron – few
- Jaggery or Sugar – ¾ cup
- Green cardamom powder - ½ tbsp
- Cashew nuts - 5
- Raisins - 7
- Pistachio - 4
- Ghee – 1 ½ tbsp
Preparation
- Heat pan with ghee then roast cashew nuts, raisins, & pistachio keep it aside.
- In the same pan roast pasta then add milk, water & cook till soft [apr 15 to 20 min]. Then add saffron & jaggery mix well.
- Add ghee roasted cashew nut, raisins, & pistachio slices.
- Finally add cardamom powder mix well &cut off heat. Serve hot or cold.
How to make Barley payasam-Stepwise photos
Heat ghee in a pan roast cashewnuts, pistachios, raisins & keep it aside then roast pasta
Add milk & let it boil
When boiling check pasta consistency then cook pasta for 20 min in medium flame.
Then add saffron & let it thickens
Add jaggery
Add cardamom powder mix well
Milk reduced & pasta perfectly cooked now cut off heat
Pasta payasam is ready. Serve hot or chilled
