Ingredients

  • Peanut - ½ cup
  • Potato – 1
  • Coconut – ¼ cup [Grated]
  • Onion -1 [sliced]
  • Green chilli – 1 [slit]
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Coriander leaves – 2 springs
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Bengal gram – ½ tbsp
  • Urad dal – ½ tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp
  • Coriander powder- ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice – ½ tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 2 tbsp

Preparation

  • Boil Peanuts & Potato in pressure cooker for 4 whistles. Then peel the skin of potato.
  • Heat pan with oil then add mustard seeds. Once it’s spluttered add Bengal gram & urad dal.
  • Add onion sauté till soft. Then add green chilli, 2 tbsp coconut and curry leaves.
  • Add peanuts, potato, salt, coriander & red chilli powder sauté.
  • Add coconut mix well. Leave it for 1 min. Sprinkle coriander leaves & lemon juice mix well then cut off heat.
  • Serve hot with rice or tea.
