Ingredients
- Mango - 1 [sweet]
- Semolina [suji, Sooji , rava, ravai] - 1 cup
- Ghee – ¼ cup
- Sugar – ¼ cup
- Water - 2 cups
- Cardamom powder- ½ tbsp
- Cashew nuts - 5
- Badam [Almonds] - 4
Preparation
- Dry roast rava & keep it aside. Peel off the mango skin, chop then put it in a blender then make smooth paste.
- Heat ghee in a pan & roast cashew nuts & almonds, chop & keep it aside.
- In a same pan, water & let it boil. Then add ¼ cup of sugar mix well.
- Now add roasted rava slowly and gently to the pan mix well & stir for a min.
- Add mango paste mix well.
- Sprinkle ghee, cardamom powder, cashews & almonds mix well in medium flame.
- Then cut off heat. Cover lid & leave it for 3 min. Then serve hot or chilled.

Add cashews & raisins, roast till light brown
Add 2 cups of water
Let it boil, add ghee
Add sugar, saffron
Let it boil
Add rava
Stir well
Add ground mango
Stir well
Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup ghee
Add cardamom powder
Add roasted nuts & raisins
Delicious mango rava kesari ready
Serve hot or cold
