Javvarisi [Sabhudana] Upma

Ingredients
- Javvarisi [Sabhudhana /Sago] - 1 cup
- Onion - 1 [finely chopped]
- Green Chilli - 1 [finely chopped]
- Ginger - 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Curry Leaves - 1 spring
- Coriander Leaves - 3 tbsp [Chopped]
- Mustard Seeds - 1 tbsp
- Asafetida - a pinch
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- Wash and Soak sabhudhana overnight. Drain extra water before preparation
- Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds. Once mustard seeds splutter add chopped onion sauté well. Add ginger when onion turns to light brown then add curry leaves, greenchilli, asafetida, turmeric powder & mix well
- Add sabhudana, sprinkle salt then sauté gently for 2 to 3 min. Once sabhudana is cooked (colour turns out in to transparent) then sprinkle coriander leaves and lemon juice and mix well then cut off heat. Serve hot
