Ingredients
- Gram flour [Besan, kadalai maavu] – 1 cup
- Coconut - 1 cup [grated]
- Milk powder - 1 cup
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Ghee -1/2 cup
- Oil - 1 /2 cup
- Milk - 1 cup
- cardamom powder - 1 tsp
- Yellow food color - a pinch
Preparation Method-1
- Heat pan add besan, roast for 5 min or till you get nice aroma
- Add milk powder, sugar,coconut, milk, cook for 2 min
- Add ghee and oil occasionally
- Stir well without burning
- Cook till the mixture thickens or it start leaving the pan [Or large bubbles forming consistency]
- Add cardamom powder
- Then cut off heat & immediately transfer to the ghee greased tray.
- Leave it for 5 min then cut into desired shapes when its is warm & store in an airtight container.

Roast for 5 min without burning
Add 1 cup milk powder
Add coconut
Roast
Add 2 cup sugar
Add milk
Add ghee, stir well
Add cardamom powder
Add oil
Add yellow food color
Cook till the mixture start leaving the pan
Cook till it thickens
Now its ready
Pour into ghee greased tray
Evenly spread
Let it set
Cut into desired shapes
