Ingredients
- Gram flour[Besan, Kadalai Maavu] – 1 cup
- Rice flour[Arisi maavu, chawal ka atta] – ¼ cup
- Roasted gram flour – 3 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Asafetida a pinch
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil – for deep frying
Preparation Method
- In a bowl add rice flour, gram flour, roasted gram flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, & water mix well & make soft dough.
- Add oil over the dough then again knead it.
- Heat enough oil in a pan then place lemon size portion of dough on ladle & scratch & deep fry on medium hot oil till crisp
- Once it ready or the oil sound disappears then take it out.
- Leave it for room temperature [Apr. 2 min]
- Then store in an airtight container.

In a bowl add rice flour, gram flour, roasted gram flour, salt & red chilli powder mix well
Add ghee, salt, asafetida, turmeric powder mix well then add water make soft dough
Dough is ready then add oil & knead it again
Place lemon size portion of dough on ladle, scratch & deep fry on medium hot oil till crisp
Once its ready take it out & drain on absorbent paper & let it cool & store in an airtight container
