Cuisine Style: Tamil Nadu, Kerala, India | Preparation & Cooking Time: 30 min | To Serve: 4 | Type: Sweet, dessert, diwali special sweet, holi, pongal

Ingredients

  • Maida/ wheat - 1.5 cup
  • Active dry yeast - 1.5 tsp
  • Luke warm water- 4 tbsp
  • SAlt to taste
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Water as required
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp

Ingredients for paneer tikka

  • Curd/Hung curd - 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Besan - 1 tbsp
  • Lemon jucie - 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli, turmeric, garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
  • Kasoori methi - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
  • Green chilli - 1 chopped
  • Capsicum - 3
  • Onion - 2
  • Paneer -200 gram

Preparation Method

  • In a bowl add yeast, sugar, luke warm water, mix well, rest 10min
  • Add flour, salt, oil, water make dough rise for 2 hours
  • Then divide into balls, flatten into thick circle
  • Heat tawa, cook both side until fluffy, brown spot appears
  • For tikka masala, add all ingredients, mix well, refrigerate 1 hour
  • Then dip skewers in water, thread paneer, capsicum, onion
  • Pre-heat oven/otg 10 min , 250 degree C
  • Bake for 30 min 200 degree middle rack, 10 min top rack
