Ingredients
- Moong dal - 3/4 cup
- Ghee [melted butter] –1/3 cup
- sugar– 2 cup
- wheat flour - 3 tbsp
- Almond, pistachios - 2 tbsp
- Cardamom powder- 1 tsp
- Edible food colour - a pinch
Preparation Method
- Heat pan add moong dal roast, wash, pressure cook for 4 whistles
- Then mash well or put iti n a mixie, grind to fine paste
- Heat another pan add 3 tbsp ghee, 3 tbsp wheat flour, roast for 3 min
- Add moong dal, 1/4 cup ghee roast for 5min
- Add sugar cook till thick, add ghee gradually
- Add sugar , food colour cook till the mixture start leaving the pan
- Add cardamom powder, nuts, remaining ghee, cook till glossy thick consistency
- Then cut off heat & Garnish with dry fruits serve cold / warm / hot.

Roast 3/4 cup moong dal
Roast only 3 min
Wash then add 2 cups of water/milk
Alternatively add almond milk
Cook for 4 whistles
Perfectly cooked moongdal
Mash well or grind to fine paste using mixie
Add 3 tbsp ghee
Add 3 tbsp wheat flour ,roast for 2 min
roast till you get nice aroma
Add moongdal mixture
Roast for 5min
Add ghee gradually apr 1/3 cup
add 2 cups of sugar/ jaggery
Melt on medium flame
Sugar melted
Add edible food color
Continously cook till it thickens
Add 2 tbsp ghee gradually
Cook till glossy
Cardamom powder
Add nuts
Perfect texture
Cut off heat
1 month storable
Tasty, melt in mouth
