Palkova is simple, and healthy melt in mouth snack for kids. This calcium rich sweet is common in kongunadu villages [Tiruppur, erode, coimbatore]. I made it with 1 and half ltr fresh cow milk. YOu can use packet milk also. For different flavour add jaggery or cocoa powder. You can refrigerate and use within 3 days. Taste good with karumbu sakkarai also. For instant palkova use condensed milk, milk, milk powder. You can avoid sugar also. Without sugar you can make gulab jamaun, burfi, kalakand, milk peda etc. For rasgulla add 3 tbsp curd, prepare paneer then make rasgulla. You can make homemade condensed milk also. For that reduce 1 ltr milk to 3/4th. Add milk powder into the mixture, cook till it hickens. You will get thick condensed milk
