Ingredients
- Maida / Wheat flour / Gram flour / All purpose flour – 1/4 cup
- Corn flour – 4 tbsp
- Rice flour – 4 tbsp
- Rava[semolina] – 2 tbsp
- Milk powder – 2 tbsp
- Curd – 3 cup
- Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Salt a pinch
- Water as needed
- Oil & ghee for deep frying
For Sugar Syrup [ string consistency or arai kambi padam]
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Water - ¾ cup
- Ghee - 1 tbsp
- Saffron a pinch
- Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp
Preparation
- In a bowl add wheat flour, corn flour, rice flour, milk powder, rava, cardamom powder, salt, oil, ghee, curd mix well.
- Add water make smooth flowing consistency batter with very little water.
- Batter should be soft as vada batter consistency. Then leave it for fermentation for 5 hours.
- Heat water & sugar in a pan mix gently then let it melt.
- Once sugar is melted let it boil till one string consistency [kambi padam].
- Then add saffron & cardamom powder gently mix then cut off heat.
- Wash and slice apple, remove edges then remove center part of the apple rings.
- Heat pan add ghee & oil for deep frying.
- Dip apple rings in to the wheat flour batter, drop it in hot oil deep fry till crips and golden brown.
- Once it’s ready drain with absorbent paper & immediately place it on warm sugar syrup & soak it for 2 min then transfer to a plate.
- Repeat the process for all apple jalebis.
- Once it’s ready, garnish with saffron and pistachios serve immediately.

Wash apple
Slice
Remove center part or apple rings
Now its ready
Cut & Remove skin
Apple rigns ready
In a bowl add wheat flour, corn flour, rava ,milk powder and salt
Add rice flour
Add cardamom powder
Add ghee, curd, oil mix well
Add water mix well make smooth batter leave it for fermentation[4 to 5 hours]
Dip apple rings in to the batter
Dip both sides
Drop it in hot oil
Deep fry till crisp and golden brown
Now its ready remove it from oil
For sugar syrup:- add sugar
Add water, let it dissolve first, boill till 1 string consistency
Now its ready, add ghee,mix well
Add cardamom powder, saffron mix well, cut off heat
Soak prepared apple fritters in sugar syrup for 2 min then take it out
Leave it for 2 min then serve
