Besan carrot burfi | Kadalai maavu carrot barfi-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Gram flour [Besan, kadalai maavu] – 1 cup
- Carrot - ½ cup
- Coconut - 3 tbsp [grated]
- Pistachios - 5
- Almonds - 5
- Sugar – 1 ½ cup
- Water – ½ cup
- Ghee – 1 ½ cup [melted]
Preparation Method
- Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan add gram flour roast till you get nice aroma.
- Then sieve it to avoid lumps.
- In a bowl add sieved gram flour and melted ghee then mix well & make it watery consistency batter(Not too much watery).
- Heat ghee in a pan add pistachios, almonds, coocnut & carrot roast then chop
- Heat pan add sugar and water mix well & let it boil till one string consistency on medium flame.
- Then pour gram flour mixture stir well.
- Add ghee little by little stir continuously on low flame till the mixture doesn’t stick & slippery on the pan.
- Then cut off heat & immediately transfer to the ghee greased tray.
- Leave it for 10 min then cut into desired shapes & store in an airtight container.

Heat ghee in a pan add carrot, coconut, nuts,roast
Roast carrot for 3 min
Then trasfer roasted carrot , coconut, nuts keep it aside
Heat ghee in a pan add gram flour saute till you get nice aroma
Now its ready cut off heat
Sieve gram flour to avoid lumps
Sieved gram flour
Transfer sieved gram flour to a bowl
Add melted ghee
Mix well without lumps
Add more ghee & make watery consistency batter
Grease tray with ghee & keep aside
Heat pan add sugar
Add water, let it dissolve then cook till one string consistency
Add besan ghee mixture stir continuously
Add roasted carrot, coconut, nuts
Stir besan carrot mixture on medium flame
Add ghe stir well
Stir besan carrot mixture till thickenes
Stir continuously for3 min
Bubbles forming
Carrot besan mixture almost ready stir for 2 min
Now the mixture is ready cut off heat
Pour the mixture into ghee greased tray
Leave it for 5 min then cut into desired shapes
Cut into rectangle shapes
Cut into square shapes
