Ingredients

  • Besan flour [Gram flour, kadalai maavu] – 1 cup
  • Pistachios – 7
  • Raisins - 5
  • Almond - 5
  • Cashews – 7
  • Jaggery – ¼ cup [grated]
  • Powdered sugar – 3 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder – 1 tbsp
  • Ghee – ¼ cup

Preparation

  • Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan roast almonds, pistachios, cashews, & raisins then chop & keep it aside.
  • Sieve gram flour without lumps & Dry roast gram flour for a min then cut off heat.
  • Heat ¼ cup ghee in a pan add roasted gram flour stir continuously on low flame till the color changes to golden brown.
  • Then add ghee roasted & chopped nuts mix well.
  • Then add cardamom powder mix well & cut off heat.
  • Finally add grated jaggery & powdered sugar mix well.
  • Then knead it and make soft dough.
  • Divide the dough into equal size balls.
  • Garnish with cashews & place it in an airtight container use within 3 days.
