Besan ladoo | Kadalai maavu laddu-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Besan flour [Gram flour, kadalai maavu] – 1 cup
- Powdered sugar –1/2 cup
- Cashews & Raisins -1 tbsp
- Cardamom powder – 1 tbsp
- Ghee – ¼ cup
Preparation
- Sieve gram flour without lumps.
- Heat pan add gram flour, dry roast for 5 to 8 min or till you get nice aroma.
- Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan roast, cashews & raisins then chop & keep it aside.
- Heat ¼ cup ghee in a pan add roasted gram flour stir continuously on low flame till the color changes to light brown. Then cut off heat.
- Add powdered sugar & roasted nuts & raisins mix well.
- Then add cardamom powder mix well & make equal lemon size ladoos
- Garnish with cashews or pistachios & place it in an airtight container use within 3 days.
Notes and variations
- Dont burn the gram flour while roasting
- Mixture is too dry, You can add saffron milk or ghee to adjust the consistency of mixture.
- Mixture is too wet or runny add badam powder, milk powder, or roasted atta, rava or ragi flour.

Ghee roast cashews and raisins
Put 1/2 cup sugar in a mixie jar, grind to fine powder
Heat pan add 1/4 cup ghee
Add roasted gram flour
Mix well without lumps and saute for 5 min
Now its ready, cut off heat
Add powdered sugar, mix well
Add cardamom powder, mix well
Make lemon size ladoos
