Mango Halwa

Ingredients

  • Mango puree - 2 cups
  • Milk - 4 cups
  • Green Cardamom powder - 1 tbsp
  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • Corn  flour - 2 tbsp
  • Almond - 2
  • Cashew Nut - 3
  • Pistachio - 3
  • Ghee-5 tbsp

Preparation

  • Wash, peel and cut the mango in to small cubes. Mash it well.
  • Ghee roasts almond, cashew nut and pistachio. Then grate the roasted nuts keep it aside
  • Heat broad pan with ghee then add mango puree sauté gently then add milk & mix well and cook it in low flame.
  • Once milk and mango puree are boiled and thickened add sugar & mix well.
  • Add corn flour, ghee and green cardamom powder & mix well.
  • Once mango thickens & halwa consistency add grated nuts & mix well then cut off the heat then serve hot or cold.

Tip

  • For Instant mango halwa use condensed milk or Khoa.
