Milk powder gulab jamun-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Milk powder - 1 cup
- Maida - 2 to 3 tbsp
- Ghee - 1 tbsp
- Milk - 1/4 cup
- Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- Salt a pinch
- Water as needed
For Sugar syrup
- Sugar – 1.5 cup
- Water –1 cup
- Green cardamom powder - 1 tsp
- Rose water - 1 tsp
Preparation
- In a bowl add milk powder, maida, ghee, salt, baking soda & milk mix well, knead it & make soft dough.
- Cover it & leave it for 5 min
- Then divide the dough into equal size balls. [Balls should be soft & smooth].
- Heat oil in a pan then put prepared balls, deep fry till golden brown on medium hot oil for 2 to 3 min.
- For sugar syrup: - Add sugar and water in a pan let it boil for 5 to 8 min
- Then add green cardamom powder & rose water mix well.
- Add fried balls in to the sugar syrup & leave it for 30 min.
- Garnish with grated almonds and pistachios & serve.
Tip & Note
- Gently make the balls. Don’t pressure it as it becomes hard.
- Don’t use mixture jar for making dough as it may be sticky.
- If the mixture is too sticky add milk powder.
- While making sugar syrup you can add saffron or rose essence.
- You can use khoya / mava also.
- You can add cocoa powder, saffron milk, rose syrup & nuts
- For instant you can make urad dal & moong dal mixture.

In a bowl add milk powder
Add maida
Add pinch of salt
Add baking soda
Add ghee
Mix well
Slowly add milk
Knead it make soft dough
Dough is ready
Divide the balls into equal size balls
Leave it fro 3 to 5 min
Balls are ready
For sugar syrup: Add sugar
Add water
Let it boil for 5 to 8 min
Add cardamom powder
Add rose water
Heat oil, add balls
Deep fry till golden brown on medium to low flame
Perfect golden brown balls ready
Remove it from oil
Fried gulab jamun balls ready
Put it in sugar syrup
Soak it for 30 min
After 30 min, sprinkle almonds, pista &dried rose petals, serve it cool
