Ingredients

  • Roasted gram [Pottukadalai, porikadalai] – 1 cup
  • Jaggery [Vellam] – ½ cup
  • Green cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • Ghee – ¼ cup
  • Cashew nuts & Raisins – 1 tbsp

Preparation

  • Heat pan add Pottukadalai gently roast for a min on low flame.
  • Then cool it & grind to smooth powder.
  • Heat ghee in a pan add raisins, & cashew nuts then roast till light brown then chop & keep it aside
  • In a bowl add Roasted gram, jaggery & cardamom powder finely grind
  • Add chopped nuts & raisins mix well.
  • Heat ghee in a pan
  • Add ghee to the mixture mix well then make it equal size ladoos.
  • Once its ready garnish with cashews, almonds or pistachios then place it in an airtight container use within 3 days.
