Ingredients
- Broken wheat rava- 1 ½ cups
- Carrot-1[cut into cubes]
- Coconut- 2 tbsp [thinly sliced]
- Onion-1[sliced]
- Ginger- 2 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Green chilli-1[chopped]
- Curry leaves- 1 spring

- Mustard seeds-1 tbsp
- Bengal gram-1 tbsp
- Urad dal-1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves-2 tbsp [chopped]
- Water- 4 cups
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Preparation Method
- Dry roast broken wheat.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add mustard seeds & let it splutter.
- Then add Bengal gram, urad dal sauté gently then add onion sauté well.
- Add ginger, green chilli, & curry leaves.
- Add carrot and coconut sauté well.
- Add water and salt and mix well let it boil.
- Then add dry roasted broken wheat mix well then cover it and cook for 6 whistle.
- Then add coriander leaves mix well and serve hot with coconut chutney, pickle or chips.

Dry roast broken wheat
After dry roasting.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker add mustard, bengal gram, and urad dal saute
Add onion saute
Add ginger, green chilli, & curry leaves saute
Add coconut carrot saute.
Add water and salt let it boil
Add dry roasted rava mix well
Let it boil
Cover lid cook for 6 whistles
Perfectly cooked-After 6 whistles
Add chopped corainder leaves
Mix well
Borken wheat upma- samba godhuma rava upma is ready. Serve hot with chutney & pickle
